Amethyst Inn- victoria inn located in the heart of Victoria on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Victoria is a beautiful city known as the Garden City which is world renowned for its gardens large and small and in summer, the streets are lined with hanging baskets. Guest will enjoy the many interesting shops and museums and heritage properties which add greatly to the old world charm that guests experience when they visit Victoria BC. Restaurants are some of the best to be found and do not forget the wonderful afternoon teas offered at several unique venues.
Inn staff are pleased to share information about what makes Victoria BC special. Attractions, restaurants, antiquing, shopping and many other activities including special places that the "locals" frequent and which are often not found by visitors without some guidance. Victoria has something special to offer for all of the guests who visit no matter if it is a first visit or a frequent visitor and regardless of the season of the year. We will be pleased to arrange dinner, sightseeing and event reservations as quests request.
Amethyst Inn at Regents Park -victoria bed and breakfast is surrounded by mansions, tree-lined streets and heritage gardens in the beautiful Rockland's neighbourhood and is just a short walk to the Lieutenant Governor's Estate, Craigdarroch Castle, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and Antique Row.
The ferry terminal in the Inner Harbor is about 2 miles from the victoria Inn and about 5 minutes by taxi. The walk in between victoria b&b is filled with all of the things that people come to Victoria to experience.
Fort Street, where the victoria b&b is located, is one of the main streets in the City of Victoria. Here guests will find Antique Row, auction houses and many of the fine restaurants Victoria offers.
Walking further into downtown along Government Street and Wharf Streets are where many of Victoria's bistros, restaurants and nightclubs as well as a great variety of shops from galleries showcasing west coast native art to British woolens, Irish lace and Rodgers' Chocolates. Chinatown is a small but interesting place filled with a collage of unique items and experiences.
